Wolferstans Achieves Bronze Wellbeing at Work Award!
Wolferstans is celebrating after achieving Bronze status within the Wellbeing at Work Award programme and receiving recognition for its work to improve the health and wellbeing of its staff.
To achieve a Wellbeing at Work Bronze Award, businesses must set up a working group, carry out a workplace needs assessment, and establish wellbeing champions responsible for helping colleagues keep up with their health and mental wellbeing. Throughout the process, they are supported by Wellbeing at Work Advisor.
Jennifer Jenkins, Specialist Health Improvement Practitioner, at Livewell Southwest, said:
‘’Wolferstans successfully recruited 17 employees from across their organisation including Partners and Senior Managers to become Wellbeing Champions. The commitment to support staff with health and wellbeing has also been shown through their health needs assessment and regular meetings with their staff steering group. A wealth of health and wellbeing activities regularly including Menopause awareness, Mental Health First Aid Training, sleep and anxiety awareness, and encouraging craft activities for the Timeout campaign for mental health awareness week. Wolferstans is a caring employer who places a high priority on staff health and wellbeing.’’
Emma Evans, Senior Associate, HR Manager, at Wolferstans, said:
“Wolferstans is committed to supporting our employees with their health and wellbeing. Many factors influence our health and wellbeing and as a firm, we understand that overcoming these issues or having processes in place to assist, can result in a range of benefits for both individuals and the wider business.”
