Bailey Partnership (Consultants) LLP Achieves Bronze

Bailey Partnership (Consultants) LLP is celebrating after achieving Bronze status within the Wellbeing at Work Award programme and receiving recognition for its work to improve the health and wellbeing of its staff.

Bailey Partnership has been working alongside Wellbeing at Work for the last two years and has established Wellbeing Champions, an annual health needs assessment, and a health and wellbeing steering group.

Jennifer Jenkins, Specialist Health Improvement Practitioner, at Livewell Southwest, said: “Bailey Partnership have embraced wellbeing in their organisation by having a dedicated wellbeing strategy and have included two recent wellbeing surveys to take account of how Covid has affected the workforce.  There are currently seven Wellbeing Champions from a mix of disciplines who have protected time to deliver wellbeing initiatives, such as mindfulness, and they follow a wellbeing calendar of events.  Bailey Partnership will now formulate their action plan going forward towards the Silver Award, using the outcomes of their staff wellbeing surveys”.

In order to achieve a Wellbeing at Work Bronze Award, businesses have to set up a working group, carry out a workplace needs assessment, a health and safety assessment and establish Wellbeing Champions who are responsible for helping colleagues to keep healthy.  Throughout the process they are supported by Wellbeing at Work Advisor who offers support and guidance.

Yasmin Bourroumane, Associate Human Resources Manager, Bailey Partnership, said: “We are delighted to have achieved the Bronze Award.  Over the past couple of years, we have really started to focus in on our wellbeing strategy.  The wellbeing award really helped to steer us in the right direction.  It’s great to see the difference this has already made to our practice. “

Bailey Partnership will now start work on their Silver Award within the Wellbeing at Work Awards programme.  The Silver Award consists of choosing three wellbeing topics from the Public Health England and Business in the Community Toolkits, followed by an assessment on each area.
